Intuitive User Interface

The UI was built with the same familiar, intuitive look as Office 2007.

Formatted Results

VWS's auto-detection will display your results in 3 formats: Grid, HTML, and XML formats.

UI Style And Color Customization

Customize the look of your app to best suit you. VWS offers 3 base schemes and a color pallet to choose from.

WSDL Viewing And Manipulation

View the cached wsdl or server-side wsdl. Compare them both using supported comparison utilities such as Araxis™ Merge or Win Diff.

Multiple Tabbed Document Interface

VWS displays each result set in its own tabbed document window and may be individually manipulated. This enables you to efficiently view your results.

Multiple Web Service Registrations

Why stop at one when VWS enables you to register as many web services as you wish? All registrations are persisted until they are un-registered by the user. This enables you to efficiently manage your web services.

Quick Web Method Execute List

VWS displays all exposed web methods and their descriptions in an easy-to-read format.

Integrated Product Updates

VWS alerts you of updates within the application. Keep up-to-date at the click of a button.

Quick Access Toolbar

Access a number of features with one simple click. VWS allows you to customize a Quick Access Toolbar by linking a button to a core set of features.

Supports Core Web Service Technologies

VWS supports core web service technologies such as Web Service Description Language (WSDL), Universal Description Discovery and Integration (UDDI), and Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP).

Dataset Editor

Are you spending too much time writing tedious code to create datasets in order to pass to a web method? VWS proudly introduces a Dataset Editor. Create your datasets from the ground up, from creating tables to adding fields to setting various field properties using the Dataset Editor. Datasets may be saved and loaded from file and passed to any web method that accepts them.

Multiple Service Endpoints/URLs

Maintain different versions of a web service, e.g. Development and Production copies? By default, when registering your web service, VWS will automatically create an endpoint for you that may be edited. Simply add a new endpoint and supply with it the URL.

Authenticated Access

Credentials may be supplied when registering a web service using Basic, Digest, and NTLM methods.

Proxy Sever Support

You can safely access web services even if you are using a Proxy sever!
